Woke Up In London Yesterday

Okay, you may hate the song 'Good Life' by OneRepublic, as Brian does. But I love it. And I DID wake up in London yesterday. So it is applicable.

I'm sorry. My name is Kayleigh, and I over explain everything. Nice to meet you.

Anyway, in London thus far, we've seen Tower of London, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Britain at War Experience, The Design Museum (Where we saw 2012 winners such as the electric car, fashion made of origami, green screens, 1,000 paper cranes project, and much more). We saw Westminster Abbey, and Churchill War Rooms, and Windsor Castle. All free with the London Pass!!

We saw Piccadilly(say it aloud and tell me you're NOT smiling), found a flee market near Trafalgr Square, and went to the National Museum where we saw many talented artists including my favorite, Monet. And, did you guys know there's a giant M&M store?

We took a ride on the London Eye, and window shopped in SOHO and the largest toy store in Europe and stimulated our brains at the British Museum. And went to Platform 9 3/4. Not the one with the sign over it, the real one. I ran into the wall, and there I was. The real Platform with Hogwarts Express. I'm a Hufflepuff!!!

That, or I suffered massive head trauma...

Thus far, London's been awesome! Still about a week left here, so I will keep you guys updated!

Dublin: An Overview

Tomorrow, we take a bus to the farm where we will be WWOOFing for the next month (thirty four days, to be exact) at Moyle Abbey. I am not sure about the wifi situation, so an important thing to note is that you may not hear from me frequently until July 6th.

Anyway, here's an overview of Dublin thus far...

We've sampled the local foods and beers. Walked until we couldn't. Learned our way around. Froze quite frequently, but we persevere nonetheless. We went to the Guinness Storehouse. Saw Oscar Wilde's house. Visited so many lovely museums. Discovered that Johnny Cash is incredibly popular. Stumbled upon old churches. Lots of them. Found joy in no hidden tax! Strolled in large parks. Saw a live band in The Temple Bar.

It's been lovely, Dublin. But farming organically calls us south!
